Mr. Paul Asuming is a seasoned financial services executive, entrepreneur, and strategic leader with over a decade of experience in microfinance, SME development, corporate governance, and business transformation. He provides visionary leadership and strategic direction to drive sustainable growth and financial inclusion.
As CEO, Mr. Asuming has played a pivotal role in positioning West One Microfinance as a trusted and fast-growing institution within Ghana’s microfinance sector. His leadership focuses on innovation, sound risk management, operational efficiency, and customer-centered financial solutions that empower individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. He has overseen institutional strengthening, product development, and compliance-driven growth aligned with regulatory and governance best practices.
Mr. Asuming is a member of the Institute of Directors, Ghana (IOD), holds a Professional Executive Master’s in Mediation and Arbitration (PEM-ADR), a Diploma in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, and an Advanced Diploma in Management Studies. His executive education includes specialized training in Microfinance: International Trends and Best Practices from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management (Germany) and in Managing People: Engaging Your Workforce. He is a fellow at the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (FCICM).
